Whiff of Joy

Whiff of Joy is a new stamp company about to launch tomorrow! and I wish Katharina and all her team all the very best. The stamps are gorgeous and you can have a peak in her blog. The design team have already been selected (congratulations to all!) and she is still looking (but only 'till 30/7/08) for a guest designer, so despite the longshot and the timescale (as I only stumbled onto this yesterday!...), I thought I would still give it ago and above you can see my card. I have used Sweet Art Ebony stamp "Pen Pal", K&Co. paper, embelishment was made with fimo and coloured with Ranger alcohol gold ink, image was coloured with distress pads and the rest is from my own stash. Hope you like it!...

Blog Candy!

Don't forget you can still win this cute stamp in my Blog Candy for July. Good Luck!

Busy, Busy Weekend!

It has been just that, a very busy weekend. Hubby returned home from a work trip and just in time for his birthday on Saturday of which was spent at football training with Michael and then whilst Michael went to a friends he came home to write up a report for work - and where was I in all this I hear you ask.......at the Art Stamp show in Newbury!!!!...on hubby's birthday??? he wanted to be left alone to do this report - can't argue with that!!!!!!......we did have a meal booked at a local restaurant which is lovely - and all three of us had a lovely meal and really enjoyed the evening - despite being in all direction during the day!

And how was the show, I hear you ask?.....it was OK - I had planned to go the two days, but Saturday from 12ish when I got there to about 4.30pm when I left was plenty. Spoke to a few people, none of which were local which is amazing to see how far people will travel to go to shows, one group of ladies which I sat and had lunch with had travelled down from Scotland!!!... Anyway, had a good time, bought a couple of new goodies, but glad to say that I was very good and didn't break the bank this time....(reserving that for Ally Pally!!!).

I havn't had much time to do much crafting these past few days, but have posted pictures of two cards which I managed to get round to finishing last week. Hope you all had a great weekend.

A little 'Blog Candy'

*** THIS BLOG CANDY HAS NOW ENDED ***
Thank you to everybody that left a comment
you can find out who the winner was here

After seeing so many of these 'candy' on various blogs and always being close to tempted (some lovely things out there!.....) yesterday, after receiving a newsletter, I finally did it and entered Magnolia blog's candy. The chances of winning are probably as much as winning the lottery, but if you don't try then you'll never know, so fingers crossed and I'll let you know!........
In the meantime, I decided to do one myself, so if you would like to be in with a chance to win this super cute brand new (unmounted) stamp all you have to do is leave me a message in this post and if you tell people about my candy with a link back here on your blog, I will add your name twice!

I will randomly draw a winner on 1st August '08 and post the results here on my blog.

I hope you will all join in the fun!

Best of luck!! Thumbs Up

Have a "Partibreak"!

I made this bottle treat box to use at both up and coming workshops and parties - I thought them to be a nice idea for a plain water bottle, which I usually always have on my desk, with the added bonus of a chocolate!!!!!! - Although I made this specifically for a small water bottle, no reason why it can't be made for a larger bottle (without pouch) i.e. wine bottles at wedding tables with bride and groom name/theme!!...
And this is what it looks like just on its own!
