LOST MOJO - if found PLEASE return!!

Hi guys, sorry I haven't posted anything for a while. I have not made anything (craftwise) for about a week (to be fair to myself, we have been through a bit of a whirlwind this past week!) and I sat down today to make a card, only to find myself staring at this one image (which I had managed to colour!) and at a complete blank as to what to do next!!?? I finally completed the card after spending over half a day on it (far toooo long!), but even then I'm still not totally satisfied with it - hence no picture!!! - however, I haven't given up yet just taking a break for kids and dinner etc and will be back at my craft desk this evening, fingers crossed my mojo may have returned!!!

So see you later or else tomorrow - and not to forget that this week is your last chance to enter my BLOG CANDY see here.

Christmas Tags!

So much for having an afternoon of crafting (monday) as I mentioned in my last post - from the lack of posts you can see that that didn't happen and it didn't happen Tuesday and I've had all of about just under 2 hours in my craft room today and that included having to put away some new bits and bobs that arrived (which BTW despite everything - did cheer me up!).

The whole reason for my lack of crafting time, is that we have just put our house on the market (last week to be precise!) and after a slow start, this week we've had a quite a few viewings, so I've had to TRY to keep the house as 'top notch' as possible!

Anyway, I did manage to make one card for you today using the tags from the Christmas stamp set from Particraft which can't be bought, BUT you can get it FREE if you host a party - and there are two to choose from, they're really versatile and great for all your Christmas projects, I've used the tags on a card, but they would look equally as good on their own on a present!!

Ingredients: Particraft Chrsitmas stamp set 2, distress inks, cuttlebug embossing folder, papers from stash box

Here are the two stamp sets to choose from click on the picture above to find out more.

Particraft Weekend and MORE!!

I've had a great weekend to tell you about, but I'll try to keep it brief in order not to bore you! - Firstly, on Saturday, I attended a Particraft training day held at the new HQ in Kettering, lead by Traci. It was a great opportunity to meet some of the new demonstrators and to also catch up with the others. I am well chuffed with the fact that this time I DID not get lost and even managed to get there with enough time to find my way to the nearest supermarket to buy my lunch and back again - woohoooo!!!

The training itself was fab we played with distress ink, distress crakle paint, cosmic shimmer, adirondack dabbers, alcohol inks, grungeboard and great new ways and techniques of putting them to use, in a word - Fantastic! and the business side of the training was VERY informative and just as great. You can be sure of seeing some projects coming this way shortly putting some of these new techniques to use - so watch this space!

It was also great to see all the new Particrafts products that we are going to be stocking along with many exclusive products too, and I could list them all here for you but, that would take up too long, so trust me when I reccommend that you see them for yourself here!

And then of course, Remeberance Day this morning, and my son (who is a young Cadet) was Parading, so all the family went down this morning to see them and go along to the church service, grandparents came down especially, it was 'awesome' and one of those moments that is really touching and we were all really proud of him!

And last but not least, an afternoon football match in the cold, very blustery, rain and wet and muddy pitch, my hands were frozen, how I managed to take a picture was pure genius!(although as you can see they're not great!) - hubby was running the line and the look on his face just read 'what am I doing here??!!' still the boys had a good game, enjoyed it and came away with a 9 - 0 victory!

And now, at the end of the evening, dinner had, grandparents gone home, kids all in bed, hubby watching t.v. I was going to retire to my craft room for a couple of hours and craft, but all I've manged to do is mount my new stamps, put everything (craft things) away from the weekend and I can't do no more, once I've finished this post, I will be retiring, but to bed, for a fresh start tomorrow and a whole afternoon of crafting - I hope!

Training Day!

I've now left and am currently at my Mum's in London (she will be babysitting for me) as tomorrow I will be at a Particraft training day. I'm really looking forward to it as we always learn some great techniques and tips and its a great opportunity to meet up with other demonstrators as we all live so far from each other and only seem to be able to get together at these training days or various shows around the country. Traci will be doing the training, so we will be coming away buzzing, minds overflowing with new ideas! Can't wait, just hope I don't get lost as I did last time - me and map reading don't go!! - hubby suggested I take his car with satnav - but even he hasn't tried it out, so I gave that a miss. Anyway hopefully once i'm on the road it will all come back to me, I just hope i get there safely!

So no projects for you today I'm afraid, but I will try to post some piccies on Sunday of our training day and our makings!

Don't forget you can still enter my blog candy here.

Meet Simone

Here's a project that I put together last night using "simone" from Toodles & Binks. I wanted to make something other than card with her so I made this little book/album and also got to use my Bind-it-all which I haven't used in ages! - shame on me!!!

Christmas Song!

Another close call, but here is my entry to the WOJ challenge blog which this weeks theme was a colour theme - Burgundy (red) and Green!!!!

I have used WOJ stamp 'Carol singing Charlotte' the background musical notes stamp is from 'Stamps Away' the sentiment is a download from the Funky Fairy and the papers are from Kaiser. The rose ribbon embelishment I have made from the same ribbon that runs at the bottom of the card.

My Mini Tutorial & Scrapbook Crazy!

WOW! - can you believe it, my mini tuturial (first one too!) which I posted instructions for here has been featured?! - I received an email from a lady at "Scrapbook-Crazy" and was asked if they could feature my tutorial on their site - aside from shock, I was oh so overjoyed at the prospect and I was emailed the link yesterday and of course, had to share it with you guys here! Check it out as there are some other great tutorials to do.

Halloween Witches and Ghouls!! & Parties!.....

I didn't have time to post yesterday, as I was busy taking my little one to stay with his grandparents in London, be back in time to find Michael last minute costume, get Emma and her best friend ready for trick o treat which we all had to be at a friends house by 5.30pm. Well, we made it, (we were about 15mins late!!!) but once there, we all set off, we had a really good time, met lots of other trick o treaters on our round, saw some really good costumes!! (which made me wish that I had had just a little more time to have made ours as I usually do, but alas...it was not to be this year!) We ended back at friends for a Halloween party with all the usual halloween party games, kids had an absolute ball! we got back home at nearly 2am!!! - the only thing missing was my little one, but we are off to another party today (a friends 40th) and we cannot take small children!!!

So as you can see guys, I'm going to be somewhat busy today too - the girls (4 of them, 2 teenagers and two 9 year old teenagers!!!!!) are all getting dressed and made up at mine somewhere in there I have to get ready too, and no doubt I'll have to help hubby and son get ready in one form or another! - So, I will probably not have a another post for you today - I'm just sneaking this one in quickly!! (including November blog candy 'till tomorrow! - sorry, but hope you will understand!)

Hope you all had a Happy Halloween and enjoy the weekend!
