One more Easter & a New Baby!....

Just a quick post today, as I've a few 'non-crafty' things that need doing before the week starts! My first project is another Toodles & binks stamp.

The papers are from the Sweet Shoppe Design collection, the flourishes background stamp is from Fancy Pants clear stamp 'Bella Blush', Nestabilities, glossy accents added to the egg, faux grass cut with 'fringing scissors'.

My next card is a New Baby card - which I am not too happy about, because I did not have any baby sentiment stamps (aaahhhhh!) except for the one in picture and it just didn't suit it, but I went ahead and stamped it anyway, and kind-a ruined it!!!!! - but I wasn't going to start again, and it just shows - mistakes happen!!!

Must make a note to myself to look for some new baby theme stamps at Ally Pally next month! - Background papers from Raspberry Road Designs - button embossing with cuttlebug folder, teddy bear image is stamp from Particraft which has been stamped onto acetate, coloured in circular motion with 3D crystal lacquer, cut out and glued onto white card - with added buttons, beads and ribbon embelishments.

1st Xmas Card/1st Challenge!

That's right, I have attempted to get into this early Xmas mode and have made an Xmas card which also doubles as my entry into my first ever challenge! - on my visits in blogland I have seen many of you doing these and I keep saying to myself "I must do one!", but never got round to doing so, so as yesterday the 1st WOJ challenge blog went live with their 1st chellenge - I to took the opportunity to enter my 1st challenge, hence this is my entry for it, the sketch has been set by Katharina, the only rule is that you have to use one WOJ stamp, I have used "Charlotte riding reindeer", the "village scene" stamp is from Particraft and the background papers are from Pink Petticoat.

BUT it doesn't end here..........I am also making another card for another challenge blog which I will post details of later.....there's no stopping me now!!!

Tatty Bear - Thank You

I wanted to make a quick Thank You card for our babysitter who came through for us yesterday at VERY short notice! - I know she likes bears (so do I!) and I immediately thought of my Particraft stamp bear with the heart, but I just wanted to make him that bit more cuter so I added some "tattyness" to him just by going around with a same colour marker as the ink with some quick flicks. Now he looks like my tatty bear that I've had since childhood - oh yes I still have him!......

A quick card made using a flower stamp, Cosmic Shimmer glitters and watercolours, Dabbers, Wizard, cardstock and some ribbon. All of which can be found on the Particraft Website.
