Particraft Weekend and MORE!!

I've had a great weekend to tell you about, but I'll try to keep it brief in order not to bore you! - Firstly, on Saturday, I attended a Particraft training day held at the new HQ in Kettering, lead by Traci. It was a great opportunity to meet some of the new demonstrators and to also catch up with the others. I am well chuffed with the fact that this time I DID not get lost and even managed to get there with enough time to find my way to the nearest supermarket to buy my lunch and back again - woohoooo!!!

The training itself was fab we played with distress ink, distress crakle paint, cosmic shimmer, adirondack dabbers, alcohol inks, grungeboard and great new ways and techniques of putting them to use, in a word - Fantastic! and the business side of the training was VERY informative and just as great. You can be sure of seeing some projects coming this way shortly putting some of these new techniques to use - so watch this space!

It was also great to see all the new Particrafts products that we are going to be stocking along with many exclusive products too, and I could list them all here for you but, that would take up too long, so trust me when I reccommend that you see them for yourself here!

And then of course, Remeberance Day this morning, and my son (who is a young Cadet) was Parading, so all the family went down this morning to see them and go along to the church service, grandparents came down especially, it was 'awesome' and one of those moments that is really touching and we were all really proud of him!

And last but not least, an afternoon football match in the cold, very blustery, rain and wet and muddy pitch, my hands were frozen, how I managed to take a picture was pure genius!(although as you can see they're not great!) - hubby was running the line and the look on his face just read 'what am I doing here??!!' still the boys had a good game, enjoyed it and came away with a 9 - 0 victory!

And now, at the end of the evening, dinner had, grandparents gone home, kids all in bed, hubby watching t.v. I was going to retire to my craft room for a couple of hours and craft, but all I've manged to do is mount my new stamps, put everything (craft things) away from the weekend and I can't do no more, once I've finished this post, I will be retiring, but to bed, for a fresh start tomorrow and a whole afternoon of crafting - I hope!

Glad you enjoyed the training and I feel a fab Scrapbooking opportunity for a very proud Momma to show of her budding cadet. And not forgetting the other budding son who should definately be scrapped about for braving the cold and winning victoriously. Or maybe it should be at the fact that you both braved the cold!!!
